  • Navasota Fishing Club

Does anyone know if this club still exists? I am in College Station and wanted to join up. However, every number I call says they dont know what I'm talking about. Anybody here with any info on it? If you are/were a member, how was it? Thanks!

I have never heard of that club but I do know a&m has a club for boaters and nonboaters called aggie anglers and since I was in it, it has really grown. There's also a brazous bass club

I was really interested in Navasota because it sounded like they had their own little lake and just charged a fee per year to fish it. was supposedly pretty good..I am just having a hard time finding these people...maybe thats a sign that they arent really around anymore. I would still like to pay to use the lake though, If i could. Beats driving 1 hr 45 minutes to Fayette!

Gibbons Creek is your best bet for catching fish where you are..........good bank fishing and they have camping there too. Dont know if the pier is back open again but there is a dock by the ramp you can fish on or walk around towards the dam....I believe it costs $4 entry fee.....
I love to eat, fish and cook........not necessarily in that order

Welcome to the FAT bass club. We meet once a month at Lake Conroe and have a tournament. We (Bigbite) are trying start another chapter at Somerville. We have a few big events a year. Lake Fork on April 9th is the one coming up. We had one a sam rayburn a few months ago. Oh yea there is a multi species tourney at Somerville some of us bass guys are going to attend. Not to mention most of the FAT bass club is here online at FAT (fishingacrosstx.com) everyday hanging out and talking fishing.

Thank of it this way md we have no fees to join such a great group of people. I'm sure that there are plenty of people on here that would be happy to take u fishing. Did you know that you can bass fish at Bryan colf course and I hear there are some good bass in it. U might give that a try. Also if you go to George Bush library you can fish there lake too it's stocked with bass but you do have to release them.

Yea sounds like a plan. The golf course use to not allow fishing because they thought it might had been contaminated but not long ago they ruled that out and opened it up. I tell u what if I don't have anything come up I'll be happy to take u out fishing
